Observable Math/Technology Lessons and Instructional Strategies
SmartBoard Gallery Content:
Category Sort - create a math category (types of triangles - equilateral, isosceles, scalene) and have students sort characteristics of the content. Green check marks will indicate correct responses.
Anagrams - Create a math game using vocabulary words and an interactive anagram. Students earn points for using the clues to determine the meaning of math vocabulary.
Intentional independent -Have students create anagram math vocabulary games for other students to solve.
Students complete a word study book using an online dictionary on the Netbooks. They are recquired to write the definition, use the word in a sentence, and draw a picture to show their understanding.
Students pick key vocabulary words to make into a photostory.
